This follow-up to the British phenom’s hit 19 is evidence that Adele is one of the best new artists, as she continues to impress with her songwriting and vocal acrobatics.  I read an article in Entertainment Weekly magazine that she gains inspiration for her writing from her personal relationships and break-ups.  I sympathize with her for having to experience such turmoil, but am happy to be the beneficiary of her musical catharsis.

The song that has gained the most attention at this point is Rolling in the Deep, a song that I find I can listen to again and again enthusiastically.    However, the entire work is full of songs that are soulful and expertly delivered.
