Title:  Tumford the Terrible

Author:  Nancy Tillman

Collection:  Children’s EZ Books

Even though Tumford the cat is well loved by George and Violet Stoutt, they despair of ever teaching him to apologize when he does something wrong.

Tumford isn’t a terrible cat, really.  He just has a habit of getting into trouble, knocking over things and generally making a mess.  The problem is that Tumford hides when he gets in trouble and has a hard time letting others know that he is sorry.  In then end, will Tumford learn to say he is sorry?
