Title: Real life bully prevention for real kids : 50 ways to help elementary and middle school children

Author:  Catherine DePino

Collection:  Children’s Non-Fiction

I think this book makes an important statement: That you always have to evaluate whether advice on bullying is the right advice for your situation. That said, I was impressed with the practical advice given in this book, words and actions that could possibly be used to help put a stop to the bullying when it’s just getting started, and is not too serious.  The message and examples given, for learning  the difference between when you can handle the situation yourself and when you should ask for help is stressed throughout the book. Written for a classroom situation, this book might be useful  to many other types of groups or families, just as an educational tool for anyone who wants to learn more about the subject.
