Substitute Creacher by Chris Gall

Title:  Substitute Creacher

Author:  Chris Gall

Collection:  Childrens EZ Books

Mr. Creacher, a multi-tentacled substitute teacher, warns his prankish students not to misbehave, recounting rhyming cautionary tales of the weird, spooky, and unexpected.

We can all probably recall a time when a teacher was out for a day and a substitute teacher arrived to fill in.  And many of us probably have experienced when the poor substitute teacher was subjected to the antics of  a variety of mischievous students.  Enter Mr. Creacher, a substitute like no other!

I have to say the illustrations and cover art of the book got my attention, and I found the book to be lots of fun to read.  Look for the surprise ending!
