Title:  Don’t copy me!

Author:  Jonathan Allen

Collection:  Childrens EZ Books

Liffle Puffin wants to enjoy a walk in the nice fresh air. But Small Gull, Tiny Gull, and Baby Gull follow him everywhere and do everything Liffle Puffin does. How will Little Puffin stop them from playing this annoying game?

In this book, one bird’s play is another bird’s irritant.  Little Puffin is minding his own business when three fuzzy gulls decide to play a game that they think is hilarious!  I admit, it was pretty funny.  But then, no one likes to be mocked.  At times, the little gulls’ behavior reminded me of the gulls in Finding Nemo (“mine”, “mine”).  In the end, Puffin finds a way to escape from the gulls play….or does he?  🙂  I was drawn to the book by the cover, and the content within–both words and pictures–did not disappoint.
