Me before you by Jojo Moyes

mebeforeyou  Regina  Review by:  Regina

Title:  Me before you

Author:  Jojo Moyes

Collection:  Adult Fiction

Such an amazing book of fiction – to write about euthanasia in such an honest, thought provoking way that you can see and feel pain for all the characters – I’m not sure how I can write the review it deserves….it is definitely a book that lingers in your mind…what if…

Will Traynor is a famous, young man at the top of his game, work, play, extreme sports, adventure – he has it all it. Or he did, until the motorcycle hit him in the pouring rain, leaving him a quadriplegic. There is no medical answer or magic that will “fix” Will. Louisa clark is the young woman, recently unemployed, hometown homebody and nobody, who is hired as Will’s attendant. Lou is given six months to change Will’s mind on euthanasia and to her credit – it appears as if it’s working. Lou comes up with crazy, wonderful ideas to get Will out of the house – some that work and some that totally freaking bomb. And…they fall in love…
